Our collective mission is to assist/impact the lives of at risk-kids and their families as well as foster children before they age out of the system.
To promote the healthy physical, emotional, social and spiritual development of each child.
We ask ourselves – why are so many children living in poverty, labeled as underprivileged, disadvantaged and more. So many titles tacked on to the most vulnerable of our society and at a very young age. Unfortunately, because of dysfunction, divorce, poverty, and other variables, these issues form how young lives are shaped and molded.
We live in a great and prosperous nation, but many communities are struggling with a surplus of neglected and abandoned children who go on to become adults and repeat the cycle that bore them. Surely we as a society can do better to protect them and offer more than a projected failure for a future.
For this reason, the Pineville Dream Center, a mentoring program, was born to serve children ages 8-16, in crisis, and give them a hope and a future for a better life.
We are about giving kids the tools and direction to discover who they are, to realize special gifts and talents, and connect with other people. A major step toward shaping their social and communication skills necessary in life.
We encourage children to dream and put their dreams into action. With the support and guidance of dedicated volunteers and mentors, a child may envision their future and learn how to take the necessary steps to fulfill it. What a life-changing experience.
The Pineville Dream Center adheres to Christian biblical principles that clearly dictate who we should care for and how that should be done. As a Christian nation founded on these very principles, it is our obligation to children and our commitment to God that inspires and drives us to be agents of change in the lives of children. Oddly, our schools will not allow you to read a bible in class, but you can get one when you go to prison. Let’s make a change.
The Pineville Dream Center is a safe place where children can learn and grow, and have fun too!
